I always admired his slightly unconventional style. RIP.

Wow. Generational icon for me. Go well Sir.
Customer: Look, there's no other way to say this, but I didn't come in here to be insulted.
Bernard: Well, I didn't ask for the job of insulting you. In another life, we could have been brothers. Running a small, quirky taverna in Sicily. Maybe we would have married the local twins instead of wasting each other's time here in this dump. But it was not to be. So hopit.

the voices of cricket are slowly changing i like the current commentators but grew up to the old voices and was very comfortable with them.
I got the song i did it my way in my head when i read the news, condolances to his family

Fine all rounder and a tough competitor in his day.
I was at Old Trafford when he made his international debut in 1972.
It was also the first time I was mesmerized by a tearaway fast bowler, a certain DK Lillee.

          RIP Tony Grieg.

His voice is one of those I held synonymous with cricket. The Ashes tours just won't be the same.
            Sad news.

always like the friendly banter between Tony Greig & Bill Lawry and the parody from the 12th man.

The other big cricket news shocked me as well,

                      Shocked, completely shocked.

His voice is synonymous with Summer, barbecues, beer and the Boxing Day Test.

Thank you for being part of an institution Tony Greig. You will indeed be missed.

Was pretty shocked to hear it.

Cricket will miss him and his irreplaceable character. So many great memories growing up listening to him.
