I went past those same coppers at the same point today ( in my pocket road train ), they always sit there, pinging people that slowed down from 100 - 80 5 metres too late. Why don't they sit a couple of keys up Roe and ping people for doing well over 100 like they do? Fucken' maggots, it's blatant revenue collecting, nothing more nothing less, and they wonder why I want to run over them with my truck every time I see them.

chose not to do it most likely because it was too much work to get into his car, turn lights on and travel up the emergency lane that he was already in and pull the guy over

now its not my job to make the roads a safer place and try prevent accidents whenever i see the potential yet this is what i tried to do

on that matter I was talking to a mate over lunch today, he's a fmr assistant commissioner, and the idea is that if the public report blatantly dumb shit someone would talk to them and try to educate them. Obviously you can't teach an idiot, nor can you fire them - job for life n all that

reasonable enough concept I guess, but all pointless though apparently. 1st you do need to go to a station to make a complaint, and the car/cop number, which is kinda inconvenient.
Though it's not inconvenient for vexatious complaints .. average of 150 / day (this was a couple years back when he retired) from people complaining about rough treatment when being arrested. All of which need investigation, and 99.99% just bullshit complaints from meth heads, pissheads, fuckwits and other cunts who would properly benefit from being flogged the piss out of anyhow. The cops even take them to the station to fill in the paperwork

Soooo

driving on Roe today (in my laden semi truck) i notice a 4wd towing a trailer with what looked to be a few cube like cages with one cylinder cage inside the open end, kinda like russian nesting cages...
These cages were roped over the top and down to the trailer and then the tail of the rope around the back of the cube and then what would have started as being over the top of the cylinder cage as it was longer than the cube cage it was in.

so the cube cages were find because they were in the trailer and held down, but the cylinder being longer stuck out the back of the trailer and on top of the trailer rear gate
and as he was driving along it was working its way out the ass until it got to the point where it was mainly out and the rope and just holding it counterlever style off the ass of the trailer, the entire way im watching this thing threaten to fall out and take out a car or god forbid a bike

Oh forgot to mention the dimensions

looked close to 1 metre in diameter and 1.5 meters long. thick mesh (steel ) caging for its walls and some kind of steel sheet/plate for its end caps
probably weighed over 50kgs, wouldnt be surprised if closer to 100kgs.

so yes, to the point where police are revenue raising oxygen theives
