  • MG service

So my eldest has ventured into English sportscar ownership.
    And now has a MGB
(couldn't talk him out of it , but it seems like a fine example)

Does anyone here know who is the "guru" in Perth?

Google say " the sports car garage" in bayswater
Anyone had any dealings with this mob

    Thanks in advance.
Note: this may not be the universe where the above is relevant.

      ^ this.

But there is nothing too special about the MGB as "sports-cars" go - Morris 1800 engine with a revised head and the twin SU carbs, pleeenty of room to work in the engine bay. Probably the the trickiest bit would be maintaining the old lever-arm dampers and the Smiths gauges so you would be looking for "classic" car specialists and perhaps better served by a club. I know the only way I could keep my old Citroen CX running back in the day was with the help and resources of a club. Other perks to be had with events and drives etc...

'68 to early 70's are for sale local for up $16 1/2 K

quick google search shows they are the car of their time.

no offence.....commitment is the key...upholstery will suffer the WA summer... electrics ,as suggested will need love.

Mate has a tr-2 and gets his bits from England....suspension bushes etc etc ..can't remember who he recommends... ( he is the WA service mngr..I tend to listen with one ear..)

                        It is a company,family business -fairchilds--moretons.. I dunno....
