      saw this on the news yesterday. thought fuck no way the driver survived this.

      seems the driver, a young blonde good lookin girl, only suffered a fractured spine which is getting operated on but no paralysis or any other injuries. this is beyond lucky.

        The rest of the world's news focuses on how lucky a 'driver' is and hails the safety of modern race cars.

        West Australian news, "Teenager injured in terror crash". All the focus on how a young life is put at risk. Fuck off.

        What pisses me off is that most people around the world have no idea that the Macau GP exists, most don't even know WHERE Macau is. What isn't reported is the 100 or so other competitors going around without incident and displaying true skill and courage. Suddenly one pretty speccy crash and the world is full of motorsport experts.

        Much like when we have fatalities on our racing scene, it's all over the news... where's the coverage for all the guys and girls competing at state level every other weekend you cunts?

        For those that don't know about the Macau GP, they do bikes there as well and it is bonkers and typically is the end of the Road racing season, check this out;

          Our media reflects (and indeed contributes to) much that is wrong with this pathetic nanny state.

            Saw a parking spot and went to back it in. Clipped the other car and it went wrong. Happens all the time.
