Yeah apparently a "Warning Sign" (Read - Hey we're not wankers there was a sign infront of the camera, its just that by the time you saw it behind those bushes you were in range of the camera.) And to make it even better theyre only putting them infront of about 50% of the cameras.

I am in the firm belief that they have done some research that points to the front signs being a distraction that takes your attention off the actual camera.

I think it is a "courtesy" I got stung in the cage for a couple of k's over with no sign out in front, just the thank you for your contribution sign after.

Yeah it gives the truck drivers advance warning of when to start drifting off the side of the road
