Because i had failed so miserably to ever keep new years resolutions i decided to make one more, which i have kept for the last 16 years.
Never to make a new years resolution.
The way i see it, if you want to make change, make it. Waiting until new years to start something means that you are procrastinating, finding excuses not to do something now. Once the excuses start you have set the wheels in motion to fail.
If you realy want to do something do it. Now.

I got around that. In 2004 I resolved to never make another resolution again, because I kept breaking them all anyway.

And why let this one last so long?

I resolve to get back into running. Recreational only, but I used to enjoy running and riding immensely. The last few years I've been too fucking slack. This isn't about getting into shape, I am a shape. I'm just fucking sick of allowing myself to let work leave me too unmotivated by the end of the day to do one of the things in life that I actually enjoy.

Well my NYE resolution is to hit the gym again.

Not been procrastinating though as I did decide and started to do this 4 weeks ago, and then got hit by a car and am waiting for knees to get good enough so I can go again.

Am hoping another week and I should be there
