    In Jurassic Park, T-Rex's roar is a mixture of sounds from a crocodile, a lion, a tiger and a baby elephant.

    In the Exorcist the voice of the demon was supplied by a actress Mercedes McCambridge after she had swallowed 18 raw eggs

    In Arachnophobia the sound of spiders being squashed underfoot is actually the sound of potato crisps being crunched.

          The alien shriek from Aliens was the combination of a peacock call and a baby elephant trumpeting. The elephant trumpeted purely by chance in the background during the recording of the peacock.

          Wow, that's been kicking around my head for way too long. Glad it's gone now.

                  When I did the Alcatraz tour they said that the doors on the spacecraft in the early Star Wars was recorded from the cell doors opening/closing in Alcatrz.
