Writing in fire?

I haven't had much luck researching this myself so I'm hoping
there are some arty-types or pyromaniacs lurking on PSB.

I want to write text in fire using fuel-soaked rope. The letters
have to be large (60-100cms in height). What kind of rope
and fuel works best? It needs to be legible (i.e. not crazy high
flames everywhere) and burn for a minute or two.

The best recomendation I've found so far has been a type of
rope called 'paper rope' soaked in kerosene. Any recommendations
from people who know or have tried this?
