Cam got a question/mission for ya.

Can you give the aircon a real work out in some decent heat and let me know how it copes?

Our current company cars are a 100 series Landcruiser and a Camry which are both renowned for having outstanding aircon's, so i dont want to take a step backwards.

    cheers

Well, living out here I just set the climate control to 18 degrees and forget about it. Does a great job so far.

        good to know.

I've tried out quite a few new cars in the last couple of months and it amazes me how average many of the aircon's are.

          Dual zone too

The Mondeo is such a pleasure to drive. I stuck it in second and forgot about it, then realised I had more gears to play with. It always throws me a bit when I come to get out of the car. First gear, park brake... now what? My hand keeps going to turn the key and pull it out, forgetting about the power button.

One thing I did notice driving it home yesterday was one push up and down on all the windows, not just the driver's side front one.

You will be very happy with it Cam, well we are very happy with ours anyway, one of the best cars we have ever owned and trust me that is heaps as we transport for Ford and hubby just can't help himself. We have had ours for just over a month and i tell you what 100 % better than the 06 XR6 that we had prior to it. Know more road noise, it is fantastic !! and a huge boot for all the shopping which is even better !!

We've had a few weeks with the car now. Just filled it up from almost empty, spent over $100 in the act.

Still, around 600 kays out of that, which lasts us a few weeks and it's in that thirsty 'wearing in' period... and we still love it.
