  • Those interested in new bikie laws

For those interested in Crusty the Clown Johnson's proposed tough bikie laws I came across this at the Western Patriot this morning (New anti-bikie laws a disgrace to WA | The Western Patriot) pretty well sums up what I am thinking at any rate.

the laws are not based on just omg they can be used on anyone the police think are involved in criminal activity so you and a mate could get in a punch up with other people and the cops could ban you 2 from associating
    Better than you since '87

"The Western Patriot predicts strong opposition to this bastard of a law."

Yeah right, like there was in SA & NSW.

        What we know:
        1. Powers will be given to police to operate covertly and commit crimes without risk of prosecution.
        2. The Police Commissioner will be able to apply to the Supreme Court for an order preventing individuals associating with other individuals or visiting “certain premises”.
        3. Police will have the power to covertly search homes and intercept telephone calls without warrant.

These laws are more about civil and personal freedoms than targeting bikies, most people will just accept that it is to target bikies until its to late.

These changes are going to make it a lot easier for the police to use entrapment, and ruin our old standards of innocent until proven guilty.
National pride should not be a crime!.

This place is getting fucking crazy.

This is like passing a laws based on the assumption that every Catholic priest is a kiddy fiddler, or every highschool teacher peddles teen porn.

How long before these laws along with the terrorist laws and and other new anti civil rights laws are used against ordinary people to keep them in line and silent.

nah that will never happen will it?

The law is supposed to be an ass, and not an arse.

These laws are silly and I think will cost the tax-payers dear when they are challenged each and every time they are used to bring someone to Court.

I am not a bikie, or a gang-member of any kind, and I have little empathy with those who are; but the law applies to all equally. This law relies upon propaganda and the false declaration that it is not generally applicable in the community, for its institution.

If the law is made ridiculous, it will shed the respect it needs to function in the community with the communities assent.

Much noise is made concerning civil rights, and the boy often cries wolf - in this case, I believe I hear the howling on the wind...

Minister Johnson does neither himself or the government any honour with this policy and this legislation.

In fifteen years (or five?) we'll be posting the same thing about the new thoughtcrime rules. A bit later than predicted many years ago but here it comes!

Don't click here to see my ZX9R aka The Ginger Ninja... there's no link!

I've said it once and I will say it again. Words of wisdom.

                        I kid, i kid...

More police power = more corruption.

                        Well known saying....

Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely...
“Crashing is shit for you, shit for the bike, shit for the mechanics and shit for the set-up,” Checa told me a while back. “It’s a signal that you are heading in the wrong direction. You want to win but crashing is the opposite. It’s like being in France when you want to go to England and when you crash you go to Spain. That way you’ll never get to England!” -- Carlos Checa
