I have done a search with no results, I know it has been covered here before.
Can someone please tell me how to embed a youtube video ?

Last time I tried Rich "fixed" it for me, as such I still dont know how to do it

    Thanks

Pure speed in sixth gear on a 5,000 foot straightaway is one thing, but pure speed in third gear on a gravel-strewn, downhill, ess turn is quite another.

On the last one I did (today) I just copied and pasted the bit on the screen that was labeled embed and got this

      <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/jQoY7ECyoN8...</param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/jQoY7ECyoN8..._embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

        No No.

Above the embed bit, it says URL.

        Copy and paste that one.

you don't do that, just copy and paste the address, so just paste:

          Code:
          http://www.youtube.com/v/jQoY7ECyoN8
          ends up as:

          http://www.youtube.com/v/jQoY7ECyoN8

            Thanks Barfy
Is there an easy way to get the address when I get it from another website where it is already embedded ?

I got it by copying and pasting the title bit at the top of the embedding
