  • anyone know a car towie that wont charge stupid amounts?

Need to get a car moved from vic park to warwick, approx 17 km's. Anyone know anyone that can help out? Doesn't really matter when to me, I can come back home to hand over keys or whatever.

Last quote I got on the phone was $230, which there is no fucking way I'm paying that much.

    Pleeease help ^_^

Dude hire a car trailer for the day, I sure we can find someone to tow???

I can probably borrow the old mans car.

Failing that I think dubs has a mate

mmm too hard. car trailers are usually pretty heavy on their own, plus a 1700kilo car means you need a pretty decent tow vehicle. then you've gotta run it back and blah.

was kinda hoping i could slip someone $100 to do it when its convenient for them and be done with it.

Get a flat bed/tilt tray rather than a tow truck usually much cheaper.

its usually all the same tilt trays are more "specialised" so used to charge more due to this.

Lee give lightning towing a call ask for "Bud" tell him Murdoch told you toring and how much for mates rates .

100km for the classic coverage. I think it costs 130$ at the moment. Way better value to join them for a year than paying a towie.

(it was a run on the way home for them which was easy to schedule in, so was a bit cheaper though)
