  • Diesel Mechanics

I know there are a lot of bike mechanics and whatnot on the forum that are happy to help members out with quality services at an affordable rate, but does anyone know whether there are any members or friends of PSB that are mechanics specialising in Diesels?

The Old man's Jeep needs a service and I'm wondering if there is anyone that I should direct our business toward (or away from for that matter).

Did a quick search and saw a couple of people were Diesel Mechanics, but couldn't find much on businesses. My google-fu is week because all I managed to find was a mobile mechanic up in Neerabup (Complete Diesel repairs). Other than that the car has been serviced by Chellingworth who are a pack of theives, so fuck that noise.

Was planning on driving up to Exmouth on Sunday and back a week later, so would like to be able to sort out a service by then.

    Cheers kids.

Yeah I did spy his name.

I think he works on Hulpacks or rigs or something.
Plus I can never remember whether he's going out with Tags or whether it's MattyG. And I'll be fucked if I want to risk seeing that bitch...

You don't need a specifically diesel mechanic dude , Just a half decent mechanic.

I can assure you than a decent heavy duty / auto MECHANIC (as opposed to tech) will be more than capable of servicing the ol man's jeep.

About 170 thousand, 8 years old, Jeep Grand Cherokee.
My concern was more the engine diagnostic stuff and having shit like filters, belts, etc and what not readily available. That and the thing has had trouble with injectors (blows a little smoke) and might have a fucked gasket somewhere.

Thanks for the offer Kamahl, your reputation speaks well and truly for itself, I just assumed you were more bike based. Old man has a former employee that was his head mechanic with Timbercorp from Albany in town tomorrow so he's going to take a peek at it, and we'll go from there.

              I'll be in touch Kamahl.
              Cheers,
