  • Car machanic wanted for simple engine swap.

    Hi guise.

I'm looking for someone to swap an engine in my cage for me. It's a 1994 Nissan Pulsar SSS (SR20DE)

I'm just dropping another naturally aspirated motor in. Same motor. Straight swap.

I am happy to help you within the bounds of my capabilities (passing tools/passing beer/holding things )

I did have someone lined up for this but now he's dicking me around and I need this done ASAP as I'm running out of time with the car I'm currently borrowing.

Preference is to do the job at my place and (so long as we can do it really soon) I already have and engine hoist here. Bradlze was kind enough to lend it to me but obviously I won't be able to hang onto it forever.

If necessary though, I can arrange to get the car and the donor engine to your workshop or whatever.

    Please halp!!

Yeah, awesome stuff! (Well we'll see how good a job he does first hey? )

The best part is he's squeezing me in straight away and is going to try to have it done this week.

Well I was just about to bump this thread.

Footer and his team at TLT Automotive did an awesome job.

No mess, no fuss and really looked after me to.

                Definately recommend them.

Oh BTW Trent, could you please PM me a price to perform a logbook 90,000km service on my 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer ES Wagon 2.4L MIVEC including doing the timing belt (due at 100,000km anyway)???

                Cheers.

Footer is a champ and helped me out with many of my stupid conundrums. Its just a pitty I live so far away now!

Honda timing belts are great fun, aren't they Trent!
I love two strokes. Because they annoy the shit out of people. ^_^
