  • The music industry in pictorial form

This is cool, informative and easy to read:

It's interesting how quickly CD is dying, all the other formats dropped off more gradually.
And revenue from the interwebs hasn't replaced what they were making from CD, the whole industry has contracted hugely.

with the ease of downloading these days, anyone can get anything in 5 mins flat if they need to, and thats if they have to go to different places to find it...

I think it might take a little while for CD's to die out completely... I'd like to see the sales of just Blank CD's because i know alot of people simply buy a blank and burn onto it... So i believe that CD's are guna be popular, just not so much with buying band ones...

Also i think if they start making quality downloads, and making them really cheap, you'd find more people would buy them...
Also if they actually start going around busting people for downloading, then people would get the idea that they can get fined for it... because honestly, who is scared of downloading anything?! ... i have never heard of anyone that i personally know, or any cousin of a friend of Habibs from the Kebab store, that has either... so doesnt really scare me in the slightest...
Christianity... It's just one woman's lie about having an affair that got seriously out of hand.

Um... sure those stats are accurate? I thought i read (on slashdot ) that cd sales were UP this year....

      edit:
if they price digital media fairly, it will sell.
“Crashing is shit for you, shit for the bike, shit for the mechanics and shit for the set-up,” Checa told me a while back. “It’s a signal that you are heading in the wrong direction. You want to win but crashing is the opposite. It’s like being in France when you want to go to England and when you crash you go to Spain. That way you’ll never get to England!” -- Carlos Checa

        It does looka little creative...

Are you sure that's not; Sales comparative with Expectations

You might be right, but this is only 1973 to 2008

Regardless, it is an easy to read layout...
