We shall see when I get it, although very excited.
1/2 the disk footprint too which is awesome.
I'm excited about the fact that a new release of software is going to actually have a marked speed increase on my 3 year old system.
I'm also looking forward to the tabs for terminal being visible in the same window.
Grand central station should hold some big speed and productivity increases too.

It's going to have 12394083092523094830924234 bugs when used in a corporate network environment, until release 10.6.8, which will be released a month before 10.7 comes out.

So no, I'm not going to look forward to it. I'm sure it will be 5x as shiny as vanilla leopard though.

Yup, as long as you have Leopard on the system, thats all you will need.

I'm making a SuperDuper! backup right now in fact, just in case I encounter one of those 12394083092523094830924234 bugs

The great thing about using Macs as doorstops is you don't feel the need to buy them software

This is going to be yet another 12394083092523094830924234 bugs that I'll have to work around for 1% of the computers I support. YAY!

So no, I'm not particularly excited

Yay, we might finally have some solutions to the 12348345912963451097 bugs that we currently suffer when doing video editing on our macs, and might even be able to do two things at once with the one machine! :o

Of course my PC at home hasnt had these problems in about 3 years running the equivalent software

I ordered it online this morning.

If /. is to be believed it may include AV software (as in, antivirus).

biggest features i'm looking forward to are grand central and openCL
“Crashing is shit for you, shit for the bike, shit for the mechanics and shit for the set-up,” Checa told me a while back. “It’s a signal that you are heading in the wrong direction. You want to win but crashing is the opposite. It’s like being in France when you want to go to England and when you crash you go to Spain. That way you’ll never get to England!” -- Carlos Checa
