        Not sure, looking at all the tyre and scrape marks I have an idea the front may have let go.
        Didnt feel anything, one minute hooking into the corner and the next i'm sliding along the ground......
        Leathers did a great job though.

                did you hit the white line....? maybe that played a part. most of all your okay could of been worse. hope u win lotto to get a brand new one mate.

                    Na mate was well away from the line and in a good position so i thought !

                    Worse thing is it broke the stand spool off the swingarm so if I want it back its a new swingarm Doh!

                    Better start checkin out the US spares sites i guess.

                      Snapped the thread part off that the spool goes into? Nah, no biggee - Stoney had a contact for someone who can fix that problem - PM her - she was hunting the contact down 6-12 months ago - don't know if she ever found it. The previous owner of my CBR 600 also had the same job done. Much more satisfying to the wallet than buying a new swingarm.

                          Gavin (GD Engineering) on here might also be able to do it? I know the previous owner of my cibby got him to do some work so it may have been him who did the spool/swingarm job. Best o' luck. Glad you're up and typing
