    To whom it may concern.

Yesterday I had the unfortunate experiance of coming off my bike, when I
came off I was only travelling at around 30/40kmph and I slid on the road
for no more than 10/15 meters, despite all this my left knee wore through
both the fabric and the kevlar patch, please find the attached photo and
I am eagerly awaiting your response.

    Thankyou,
    Adrian Augustyniak,
    Perth, Australia

hi adrian and thanx for contacting us...we are sorry about your accident.

we must have talked to dozens of people at the motogp on the weekend
who had come off in our jeans with pretty much total saving on skin...so
    your result is unusual.

i cant imagine what would have happened if no kevlar.

please send aussie post bag to draggin jeans, 196 wells st., south
melbourne,3205 victoria with all your contact info and we`ll look at
    replacing.

any other info you can give us may be helpful...type of bike, road surface
    info etc.

we`ll call you to discuss as soon as they arrive here.

    ride safe,

    grant

    Hello Grant

I apologize about the lateness of my reply but i have been out of the
    country for business reasons.

Here are the details you asked for, I ride a 2003 Yamaha YZF R1, I was
traveling no more than 30/40km[h as stated previously and I slid on the
road for no more than 15 meters, the road surface is pretty smooth as the
    road isn't that old.

I am unable to send you the pants at the moment because they are the
only suitable pair of riding pants i have, however if you would be able to
send me, or organize with the dealer that i purchased the pants from (Rick
Gills Motorcycles, 13 Main Street Osborne Park, W,A, 6017, Ph;94433555,
Fax;92421874) if they can provide me with a replacement pair of pants
then i would be able to sent my current damaged pair of draggins to you.

I ride in a very large bike community (Perth Street Bikes) and all of my
riding friends have been very dissappointed (to say the least) at what
happened to my jeans, i myself now have minimal trust in the draggin
jeans and am now looking around to buy leather because i no longer am
able to feel safe in the draggins after seeing how easily the Kevlar wore
    through.

I am eagerly awaiting your response and once again apologize about the
lateness of my reply, i would also like to ad that i am participating in a
Track Day on saturday the 29th of november and would like to have new
pants before then so i can wear them on the day.

    Thank you
    Adrian Augustyniak

i`m tossing in knee armour...the knee kevlar is now 75% stronger against
"burst" which is what i`m guessing happened to you...its happened on a
few other occassions....most lost has been like 5 or 10 cent coin.

Dude, that is awesome customer service

Working in a service dept myself, it is very rare for any company just to send out stock without viewing/assessing the faulty product first (because you could be trying to scam them!).
So yeah, like i said, good service

            Glad to hear!

That is odd but as soon as they heard PSB (prolly looked us up) sales could drop quite dramatically.. What's one pair of jeans compared to Perth's perception of Draggin, tainted. If I were a manager at Draggin I know what I’d do !

            Congrats

Well I hope nobody takes advantage of their generocity.

I think that is an excelent responce from an excelent Ausi company that back their product 100%.

                  Good work Dragin.

So on the eight day, after wasting time faffing about with unimportant guff like heaven & earth & the waters & sky & creatures [& having a wee kip] & man.... God created PSB (GenesiSX-R1000)

it is a good repsonse ... i can tell you that you wont get the same from alpine star .. even if u did only buy the product 3 days prior to it falling apart..

good to see a aussie company helping out and showing their true colours

now ...madmax ... about those draggins ???

This is the the way Draggin' normally does it's business. If you ever email them, you will always get a reply and usually it will be from Grant himself.. Good on 'em.... Too bad you had to get a busted knee to discover they have good customer service, but the true test is always how a company reacts when the chips are down. 10/10 If I ever get back to Oz they will get my business.
