  • GSXR Suzuki Brake FAILURE. PLEASE READ

    Hi guys.

Just been asked by a friend to post this. Suzuki is recalling all their bikes worldwide due to a serious fault...front brake failure.

Please spread the word and ride safe.

fwiw, it is not a sudden and critical brake failure.

it will be a slow deterioration.

but, contact your dealer if you own any post 2000-ish gsxr for details.
The greatest excitement comes from besting who you were yesterday.

Also: if the owner of a GSX-R has an affected bike, and hasn't either stolen the thing or bought a stolen bike (i.e., all the vehicle transfer papers have been done properly), they will receive mail from suzuki to schedule the recall work as they see fit.
“Crashing is shit for you, shit for the bike, shit for the mechanics and shit for the set-up,” Checa told me a while back. “It’s a signal that you are heading in the wrong direction. You want to win but crashing is the opposite. It’s like being in France when you want to go to England and when you crash you go to Spain. That way you’ll never get to England!” -- Carlos Checa

What if they stole the owner's computer, too?
