Police are regularly active on Dunreath Road. However, they are completely inactive on Brearley Avenue (domestic airport) and Horrie Miller Driver (international airport).

Wish that they'd get active on the dickheads that part on the side of Brearley Ave all the time.
One owner. Only driven gently on Sundays. Sold to best offer. First to see will buy. Reward offered for safe return. Coming soon to a cinema near you. Available for a limited time only.

My waterbed broke this morning. Oh, I don't have a waterbed. Bugger.

How on earth can that bother you? Some people choose to avoid hefty parking fees. Live with it.

              This.

What happens one day when one of these dickheads decides to pull out on to the road without looking first?

Or opens the driver's door just as another car drives past?

There are enough things to maintain an awareness of on that road as it is. Watching out for morons pulling out shouldn't be required. Likewise for positioning the car to the right side of the lane and then freaking out the car in the next lane.

Why not just drive in the right lane? Because I turn left at the first roundabout... let's just say that I've got a clever way of getting through the airport drop-off process.

There are plenty of other places nearby to stash a car - you just have to have a bit of a look. Heck, it's not like taxis and SCVs aren't regularly sitting somewhere nearby, waiting for their private bookings to arrive...

              Again, this.

Is $1 to park somewhere safe so expensive?

Pretty sure that '/' stood for police vehicles, including unmarked cars and TEG motorcycles.

Yeah saw them there the other (17th) saving lives on the speed change as you come out of the roadworks.

And what phildo said with regards to brearley ave.

get the fuck off the shoulder/emergency lane, and go pay 2 bucks for a parking space, you cheap cunts. I'm sure the FIFO job your wife is picking you up from can manage 2 bucks a fortnight.

(I work at perth domestic, it shits me too)
“Crashing is shit for you, shit for the bike, shit for the mechanics and shit for the set-up,” Checa told me a while back. “It’s a signal that you are heading in the wrong direction. You want to win but crashing is the opposite. It’s like being in France when you want to go to England and when you crash you go to Spain. That way you’ll never get to England!” -- Carlos Checa

Hopefully the unmarked bike cops aren't any faster than the current marked ones...

I guess if you see a bike keeping up it's time to get the lead out and ride like you mean it.
Do you remember the good old days before the internet?

when arguments were only entered into by the physically or intellectually able.

Had a chat with the two Victorian coppers running these things once and they were riders.

They organize the Barry Sheene ride escort and I have also been pulled up by one who asked to see my licence after a drenching ride from Melbourne to Bairnsdale.

Told him I was from W.A. and it was in the panniers. He said "Forget it, on your way"

how about when they use turning lanes as a parking spot and park halfway up them! :/
