Well no. These transactions are undertaken under strict valuation rules.

The buyer and seller usually have their own valuers that sort out the value. If they cant agree they walk away.

Gee willikers, not everyone is a thief.
      Hey there, Hey fella.

Sounds like someone thinks they are still important and the world should revolve around them. Toys and dummy made it some distance when thrown from pram.

Before the City of Albany and Shire of Albany were combined in the late nineties this would have been a shit fight of massive proportions and been almost impossible to pull off.

The motocross club are pushing hard for a track there since the previous one was shut down some time ago.

There is a strong connection with motorsport in the region with the Racewars event moving there showing the town what a boost motorsport can give the local economy, which struggles for consistency.

The round the house car event each year is also a long running successful event along with the motorcycle hill climb.

Lets hope common sense is more common there.

She must miss being on Council and getting news before everyone else. It has been talked about in Albany for well over a year, so she must be well and truly out of the loop.
Life is NOT a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: "Wahoo!! What a ride!"

And don't forget the Albany Soapbox Club which has been racing down Mount Clarence since 1962, and unfortunately has been temporarily put on hold for about a year due to some art light installation on Apex Drive

To quote a mate of mine, "If it hasn't got an engine it isn't a sport".

They do quite a few hillclimb events in albany, most of the town get right behind all the events held there. Well, most except that whiney moo.

I conducted my own event last time I was there, mid winter, Tuesday afternoon about 4.00. Set a cracking time in the GTI, next time I'm down on the bike in the same "race conditions" I'm going to do a TT

Should the headline be secret meeting no longer a secret.
Ninety nine percent of the people in this world are fools. The rest of us are in great danger of contagion.

Every time I see "Motorsport" mentioned in W.A. along with talk about a future facility or even talk about extensions to existing facilities I always need to double check the calendar to make sure it's not April 1st.
Trying to think of a wise and sincere signature quote, but the only words that leap to mind are, "TITTY SPRINKLES"

                              HTML Code:
Albany could soon have its own world-class motor racing venue after the City of Albany council showed unanimous support for the proposal.

Thunderous applause shook the City's council chambers following the 11-0 vote on Tuesday night, which came after several members of the public urged council to get behind the proposal.

Council agreed to purchase the land for an unknown cost, but the site was previously valued at $1 million according to one former councillor.

Great Southern Motorplex Group chairman Theo Newhouse said with the decision Albany could become the motor sport capital of Western Australia.

"The park can be profitable and sustainable," he said.

"It will provide an opportunity for locals...to pursue their passion (safely).

"It will eventually be able to host national events: motorcycles, V8s and also motocross."
