FROM FORUM USER:
Hi Deej,
Can you please put a notice on the forum, or anywhere about a stolen motorbike. A guy came to test ride my bike today, and didn't come back. IT IS THE LONGEST TEST RIDE IN HISTORY... 8HRS... He arrived at my house on a scooter (stolen from a guy who works at Causeway yamaha), and what else can i say... the rest is history. My plate number is 1AU 223. When i get home, i can email you the engine and VIN numbers. Contact phone number is 0405 771 569. It was a Blue, R6, 99/00, and my pride and joy. It was clean... but who knows what it looks like now. It has a tinted blue screen, and go fast stickers on it.
CAN YOU FIND MY BIKE... AND BEAT THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF THE GUY WHO DID THIS?????
Thanks
Misstocky

Peoples, I received the above message this morning from forum user ‘Miss Tocky’.
Everyone please be aware of this stunt, I have heard it is quite common. DO NOT let people you don’t know test ride your bike without holding onto their photo ID and having a friend on a similar speck bike with good skills riding with them.
Also, be aware that some insurance companies (IE Swann) have an express clause on the contract that says “YOUR BIKE IS NOT INSURED IF BEING TEST RIDDEN BY A PROSPECTIVE PURCHASER”.
Any info on the bike, please contact Miss Tocky on the mobile number above.
Keep an eye out.
This is getting crazy.
