  • STOLEN BLUE R6 - 1AU 223

    FROM FORUM USER:

    Hi Deej,

Can you please put a notice on the forum, or anywhere about a stolen motorbike. A guy came to test ride my bike today, and didn't come back. IT IS THE LONGEST TEST RIDE IN HISTORY... 8HRS... He arrived at my house on a scooter (stolen from a guy who works at Causeway yamaha), and what else can i say... the rest is history. My plate number is 1AU 223. When i get home, i can email you the engine and VIN numbers. Contact phone number is 0405 771 569. It was a Blue, R6, 99/00, and my pride and joy. It was clean... but who knows what it looks like now. It has a tinted blue screen, and go fast stickers on it.

CAN YOU FIND MY BIKE... AND BEAT THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF THE GUY WHO DID THIS?????

    Thanks
    Misstocky

Peoples, I received the above message this morning from forum user ‘Miss Tocky’.

Everyone please be aware of this stunt, I have heard it is quite common. DO NOT let people you don’t know test ride your bike without holding onto their photo ID and having a friend on a similar speck bike with good skills riding with them.

Also, be aware that some insurance companies (IE Swann) have an express clause on the contract that says “YOUR BIKE IS NOT INSURED IF BEING TEST RIDDEN BY A PROSPECTIVE PURCHASER”.

Any info on the bike, please contact Miss Tocky on the mobile number above.

    Keep an eye out.

    This is getting crazy.

    Deej

So on the eight day, after wasting time faffing about with unimportant guff like heaven & earth & the waters & sky & creatures [& having a wee kip] & man.... God created PSB (GenesiSX-R1000)

Dirty, dirty bastards!!!! Any chance of getting some photos posted? Is there any recognisable markings? Also, what did the guy look like, what was he wearing etc?

    Hope this turns out ok.

      My Poor Big Bike

Well, he wasn't wearing a jacket (it would have been to hot). He had a multi coloured helmet, wasn't very tall, had a bit of a gut on him. Short hair (shaven???). I can't remember much else.

My bike... tinted screen, oggy knobs, go fast stickers, rego disk holder loose, small scratch on original pipe. Blue. If you were at the track day, you would have seen it then. Thats all i can remember about my baby... I'm already have withdrawl effects... PLEASE FIND. :!:

Prolly cause it was his bike they left when they stole the R6... and the cops would have spoken to him...

Which direction did he take off?
                    Will you insure me?!

The courts/police really should relax the G.B.H. laws for situations such as this.

"What do you say in your defence to these GBH charges"
"But he stole my bike your honour"
                              "Fair enough. Dismissed"
