  • Another fatality. Bunbury. Friday night, 5 March 04.

Apparently someone went through a radar trap, and then tried to get away from the cops. Took a corner, ran wide and into some bush. I guess it's as they say, you take your chances with that sorta stuff. RIP.
    teh sig!

    Shit

Any idea what time of night this was? I heard a few sirens in the middle of last night and was wondering what was up. Could've been the same thing.

    RIP.

        All say the same thing:

A 22-YEAR-OLD motorcyclist died after he lost control of his vehicle while trying to evade police during a pursuit.

West Australian Police today said they pursued the man, after officers found he was travelling above the speed limit in the Bunbury suburb of Eaton, south of Perth, about 8pm(WST) yesterday.

The motorcyclist, who has not been identified, failed to negotiate a bend on Hamilton Street and crashed into roadside bushes, police said.

The man died from injuries received in the crash.

Nobody else was injured in the accident.
That's just up the road from me so it probably was the same incident
        Hope it's nobody I know.

He made the decision to run but it is still very sad he paid the ultimate price for it.

          RIP

Not exactly - he paid the price for running from the cops to save paying a fifty dollar fine.

Either way ... it was a steep price to pay.
