• Motorcycle down and caught

I was traveling home from Bunbury tonight and saw
A Red R1 down on Safety Bay road and Mandurha Rd
roundabout at 12.30am with a heap of cops around him.
1 patrol car
1 Highway patrol
3 or 4 cop bikes
1 Ambo

Rider was sitting up and looked ok,
but not the way he would have wanted to end the chase.

Cheers
Greenie

just because you buy an R1, doesn't give you the right to RIDE an R1

stick to Honda's and Kwaka's.....squids....

Honda and Yamaha would have to head most statistics wouldn't they??? The others don't come close in sales.

JAN-JUN 2006 figures
Honda 13,141
Yamaha 11,664
Suzuki 6593
Kawasaki 4554
Harley-Davidson 2570
KTM 2456

No, I am not arguing they are better.... but those accident figures wouldn't take sales of particular brands into account so they dont really say anything much about the actual bikes.

IMO it would make sense to look at age vs type of bike (eg. cruiser, sportsbikes, etc).

nice try, but statistics mean nothing without qualifying data. i.e. types of bikes, number of bikes in the market place. average k's travelled.

its the same reason postie bikes are removed from all bike sales stats.

p.s. don't take it too seriously, we all know ducati riders are the most likely to crash.

hey Tim , did you drop off my flame proof suit.
