  • CBR600RR Recall Issued

Honda Japan Puts Out A Recall On CBR600RR Models June 2003 - July 2004
    Today
TOKYO — Honda Motor Co said Thursday (yesterday our time) it will recall about 1,900 CBR600RR motorcycles to fix a possible defective braking system.
The motorcycles subject to the recall were manufactured between June 2003 and July of this year, Honda said in a report to the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

Braking systems are pretty important, so contact your local Honda dealer to see if this effects you.

Guess what problem I've been having all year  BRAKES :!:

surely honda have some way of contacting the owners - or at least trying to. what if my bike was effected and i was too stupid to use a computer?

is there any word on what the actual problem is?

Sounds like only some bikes are affected, mine being one of them! From day one I have complained about my brake lever being too soft, they have tried different fluids and pads, put in a new master cylinder kit.

With any luck this will sort out my problem! 8)

the recall is to replace a fitting which might impede the application of the rear brake :?
