Storchy went down !!!!

Just to let you know guys...for those of you who met him, Storchy went down yesterday arvo (Thursday 4/9). Details are still a bit sketchy but I'm doing my best to find out what happened....the bike is in bits ('94 CBR250) and so is his right foot (from memory)...Majority of his bones are broken in his right foot and he suffered a nasty gash to his knee.....but as more details follow I'll fill you in.....

hey guys, cheers for the well wishing.

Im outa hospital finally after a week of bad food (but hot nurses)

just incase anyone was interested : i broke my foot in 4 places, fractured my knee cap and took quite a bit of skin off.. but other than that.. im pretty fine. 6-8 weeks in a cast and no-one will know the difference.

i'd like to say the accident wasnt my fault.. but it was.


was on a straight bit of road.. daydreaming about something or other, ducked my head to check my mirrors (thought i saw a glimps of some authorities), by the time i looked back up id drifted right about a foot across the road and just enuff to clip a median strip.

stupidity and carelessness. thats all i can say..

as far as hospital was concerned... 8 hours in emergency getting every xray known to man, still with my foot limped over like a dead toadstool and scratches all over me. then 2 goes at surgery in 3 days.. another 3 days in rehab and im back to the couch. ;-)
