    What colour is it?
"In all the human societies we have ever reviewed, in every age and in every state, there has seldom if ever been a shortage of eager young males prepared to kill and die to preserve the security, comfort and prejudices of their elders, and what you call heroism is just an expression of this fact; there is never a scarcity of idiots." -The Culture

Do them a favour and smash the globes so their battery doesn't go flat.

How can it be left on if the key is not there?
That begs the question is the key there?

                  Interesting Hazelnutty.
Hope he will come back relatively quickly and still be able to start the bike up.

or the key could pull out like mine did the other day ... first time for everything.

had to hang on to the side of the at 40km to get enough power through the system and hold revs at 4K or she'd cut out.

                    good 10 mins later though.

So you can park the bike in a darkened street with the park lights in the hope that drunk car drivers actually bother to look out the window and not run your bike over. Thus the name park lights.
