  • End of an Era - Pete from Causeway Honda

As at 1pm Saturday 4 October 2003, the legendary Pete from Causeway Honda will no longer be "Pete from Causeway Honda" and will become just "Pete, all round good bloke".

Pete who started at Causeway Honda in his teens some 7 years ago, has resigned today to take a break, assess his options and possibly pursue his wishes to study Sports Science.

Pete commenced working at Causeway Honda as an apprentice mechanic then after qualifying, headed up the service and spares, then accessories until recently expanding his all-round knowledge of the bike industry by getting exposure in bike sales.

Pete's ability to know what is going on everywhere in that shop has been a constant source of fascination to the Team. His sharp humour & wit along with his 'go the extra yard' service will be sorely missed by all who have dealt with him.

On behalf of the Perth StreetBike.com community.... Thankyou....and we wish you success with any career path you decide to pursue.

On behalf of Perth Extreme I know I can speak for all of us to say that the important result of the Causeway Honda relationship is that we have met someone we are all proud to call a friend, and that doesnt end this Saturday.

    Deej

So on the eight day, after wasting time faffing about with unimportant guff like heaven & earth & the waters & sky & creatures [& having a wee kip] & man.... God created PSB (GenesiSX-R1000)

        Pete,

Sorry to see you go. Know you have yr reasons and i know you will kick ass where you go.

Big it up for the mighty Pete. He has helped us all, (for the ones that haven't been to see Pete, shame on you) Sad to see the end of an era, but onto bigger & better things.

        All the best Pete.

And for those who now don't know where to shop for your bike goodies, go and have a chat to Gary at Northside Kawasaki. Gary will look after you just like Pete used to , well maybe not a back rub or foot massage, but in quality service.

And you can still go to Causeway Honda just Pete won't be there

            Causeway Honda

            ALL FORUM READERS,

Pete may be leaving the shop to venture out on new horizons but...

at the end of next month (Oct)

I will be filling the void Tony WALTHER left three months ago as the Accessory Manager so feel free to come down and I will be sure to try and look after you Peter Style.

Most frequent readers off the forum who visit the shop would already know me as Chook or Alan.

Look forward to continuing the service.

hey firestorm , lets be realistic here , just cause he knows about the web site (not an active member that i know) you expect gary to throw in a new lid !!! you gotta be dreaming , on a 250 worth say 7-8 grand (not sure what it's worth) if gary then GAVE away a helmet around 600 bucks he'd be making fuck all profit , just cause people say that they know us doesn't entittle them to free shit, what we are saying is that gary will do the best deal that he can for you , he's still running a buissness and has to make money. and everyone gets the piece of mind that gary won't fuck you over and that you can deal with someone you can trust !!
nothing is for free in this world ! and as far as i'm concerned perth extreme is about people ridding together that have fun ! it's not about jumping on the bandwagon and trying to get something for free when you decide to buy your first bike ! do your time prove your worth and shop at northside all the time and i'm sure you'll start to see the benefits ! until then pay the full price and shut the fuck up !
