Cheers for the welcome guys, PSB certainly seems to be one of the more active and interesting Aussie bike forums.

Thanks for the the advice because I've read a few of those threads, the bike has been insured as long as I've had it and I disc-locked either one or both wheels, nothing as fancy as the Xena lock though so I might have a look at them.

I'm honestly not that worried about it being stolen at my uni, one of the benefits of being in the middle of suburbia and sprawling over a few hills is that unlike the other two universities here which are in the CBD there are a lot less random people around. The incident with the premier's carpark was in the small CBD campus Flinders has, I've stopped riding the DRZ when I have classes there in favour of a push bike to try and reduce the beer gut.

    Welcome Crow-Eater.

There are worse places than Adelaide... think of Balga for example...

Welcome and hope you enjoy the 'west'.

Start with a Xena lock, or something else that makes noise when it's disturbed - XENA Security Disc-Locks, Alarms and Accessories for Motorcycles and Scooters

South Australia isn't far enough east for us to presume you're an arsehole, but once enough PSB rubs off on you, you will be. Welcome to the club :-)

G'day I'm Amin, I'm from Adelaide which I assume you'll all hold against me.

I've been riding for just over a year currently have a 2009 DRZ 400 S which I'll probably keep until I finish uni, not entirely sure what I want next although the

My motorcycling claim to fame is I've been pulled out of a uni tutorial and told to move my bike because I was parked in the premier's carpark.

    ta,

    Amin
