I'll be off for a While

Hi all,

Well where do I start I'll be out of action for a while as I hit some serious gravel on a corner whilst riding in the country and low sided my 999. Sustained a few injuries, broken neck, back, multiple fractures of 4 ribs and collapsed my lungs.

All's good and should be back on around May.

Damage was cosmetic apart from a gear leaver and a mirror.

Sounds like the MAD ride is helping out yet another one of us-maybe in future they can supply street sweepers to help keep gravel off country roads

take care of yourself during your recovery mate. with such a strong spirit and positive outlook, that it sounds like you have, i am sure you will be fighting fit in no time.
good to hear you aren't scared off the bike either.
