  • I'll be off for a While

    Hi all,

Well where do I start I'll be out of action for a while as I hit some serious gravel on a corner whilst riding in the country and low sided my 999. Sustained a few injuries, broken neck, back, multiple fractures of 4 ribs and collapsed my lungs.

All's good and should be back on around May.

Damage was cosmetic apart from a gear leaver and a mirror.

Ouch - enjoy the recovery period, hopefully it passes quickly for you mate. Sounds like it could have easily been a whole lot worse.

Ouch you're one up on Jacqui, pretty sure she didn't have a collapsed lung

Hope you heal as quick as her, but sounds like you'll be back out there asap.

Good luck with the healing process

Oh my, that sounds terrible. But you sound so positive!

At least you have PSB to keep you entertained while you recover.

Wow that sounds just sooo familiar

Hope things are going as well for you as they are for Jacquie

Where are you, at RPH or have they got you at Shenton park yet ?

Is there anything you need ?

Sounds like the MAD ride is helping out yet another one of us-maybe in future they can supply street sweepers to help keep gravel off country roads

                            .
                            YOU WIN

Just thought of something-a common theme here is Italian bikes and gravel on corners, maybe to be safe we should all ride Hyosungs on the freeway

                            just a thought
