Hey all, my names Alex, 23 yr old Mech Eng student at UWA, live near the uni and have recently become interested in riding a bike after always being interested in cars, and i still love driving to this day.

Got my learners the day after my last exam and went for my first lesson friday and it was pretty fun even though i was only zipping around a carpark. Now lookin to buy a newish 250cc to own for 1 year for around the 4k mark, and get my RE license by mid jan.

Hope to go on one of the learner rides sometime soon.

Thanks for the warm welcomes guys, Jan 08, i dont think i wanna hold my learners for a year, lol, the instructor dude said it shouldnt take more than 5 lessons before i go for my test, so i could get that in before jan, he had me doin emergency brakes from about 45km/h in this carpark for my first lesson, was pretty fun!
