  • Hey fellas new to street bikes

Im 23 and live in the pilbara with my quad, she's a YFZ 450 SE, as yet i've only ridden race quads and want to get into street bikes.

I don't know anything about them, so what's a good 250cc bike to start off with, any suggestions? Much paperwork involved in getting your licence?

Any tips would be great too, thanks. Forum looks good too!

    Beno.

              Thanks for the links!
Not sure about the difference between faired or naked, im guessing if it has alot of plastics?
After something that looks good and is easy to learn on to start, will worry about tidbits and performance as i progress.

Any good websites i should have in fav's?

a naked bike does not have fairings like the ducati monster.

I've noticed a few, but most of them are fifo I think. I spent 07 In Paraburdoo, although it was an interesting experience, I much prefer being home in Perth.

Yeah I've been here a while now and am looking at buying rental property in Perth and getting FIFO.

Still doing my bike research, cant decide man!!
Cruizer or road, new or second hand. Will lurk the trader post and for sale section here. But mostly, would like some guidance and a few days looking at bikes first hand plus sitting on them ect.
My evil side is telling me to sell my yfz 450 and get a good 250, im supressing it for now ^_^
