when do we get to check out vale's new yamaha?
my R1 could do with a lick of paint!
I met him at Philip island but forgot to ask him (although i got on piss with Gibernau, Hayden, Pitt and Jeremy Burgess)

If you check out the latest Australian Motorcycle News you will see the M1, same as Checa's.

As for Rossi testing the M1 he is testing Today (Wednesday 21st) I will keep an eye out for results, and post them.

Vale's Bike

This is what the MotoGP website had to say about the Yamaha line up;

"Valentino Rossi will ride in the blue of Altadis' leading international Gauloises brand. Team-mate Checa's Yamaha YZR-M1, on the other hand, will sport the red and silver of Altadis' Fortuna, the market leading tobacco brand in Spain, and strongly developing internationally."

So expect his colours to look something like this



Same as Barros last year. Checa's bike should be the same as last year.

Spot on there, Yamaha said a month ago that they would have to work with some of Rossi's sponsor, so final paint / sticker lay out has not yet been finalised.
I would expect something slightly different.

The moto gp website is having footage of Rossi's first test on the new bike this weekend. It will cost 1 Euro for no subscribers. It might worth checking out for those with broadband.
