Well we just have to wait and see who wins... a few laps is okay just for times, but when it comes to endurance, then the true colours come out.

notice that rossi is 1.5 seconds better than the next best yamaha rider on only his fourth day on the bike???

as much as i hate him, it looks like max could be a major contender this year

Colin Edwards has alot to prove now he's back at Honda and he will be on the podium this year for sure. Rossi could pull an extra few seconds over anyone on a similar bike...he is THAT good.

The thing with Biaggi, you stick a foot or so off his back tyre and he finishers a couple of laps early

Edwards is the dark horse, expect him to do well, and Rossi will be Rossi at the front some where.

Bring it on, not long now!

..though it would be a lot more difficult if he didn't take half of his team, including guru Jezza Burgess, with him from Honda. Credit where credit's due, Rossi is a fantastic rider but there's a lot of people that make up a team!

IMHO, he's had catching up to do for about the last 10 years.

                      Barros

Absolutely...six wins in 220+ GP starts is hardly the resume that would win you a seat on the best bike in MotoGP! But then money talks and lets hope he is at least able to sell a shit load of Repsol in Brazil cos he won't be seeing much of the podium!!
