Honda Reigns over other Japanese manufacturers

Honda has done it again.

Chris Vermeulen (Reigning World Supersport Champion) has placed second in both World Superbike Races at Round Two held at Phillip Island.

The only manufacturer to place ahead of the brand new Honda Fireblade 1000cc was the already highly developed and designed Ducati 999 F04/RS.

Where were the Yamaha R1's, Kawasaki ZX10's and Suzuki GSXR1000's?

Who says he who has the most horsepower wins?

Honda which has further development to go for the Fireblade have shown huge potential already here in Australia (currently leading the Australian Superbike Championship) and now internationally to be placed third in the points standing in World Superbike (again leading Japanese Manufacturer)

Congratulations though to Garry McCoy is his debut win in Race 2. Great result for Australia, Garry and his Team.

Hopefully he can outshine the Factory Ducati Team.

Have both races on tape if anyone wishes to view.

Good to see the underdeveloped Honda do well. Very good result in Race 1, but for race 2 he was very lucky, should of finished 5th, but lucky for Chris Toseland crashed out and so did Laconi while leading the race :oops: and then Steve Martins engine lunched it self with only a couple of laps to go :oops:

Must say it was the best racing I have seen from the WSBK boys in a while, no run away winner and good close racing 8)

In the Supersport it was even better, hard close racing with Josh Brooks just beating Kevin Curtain by 0.25 of a second.

Bring on Round 3 8)

By the way next round is April 18th it's a double header on Foxtel - Moto GP and WSBK & WSS, should be great.

More like who has the most money, but you still have to stay upright and finish :idea:
