  • Australian Superbikes Rd 4 at Wanneroo (Who's In)

OK who is thinking about entering Round 4 of the Australian Superbike Championship at Wanneroo :?:

    Date June 25th Practice.
    Sat June 26th Qualifying.
    Sun June 27th Race day.

Note; To qualify you are required to pass the 115% rule :!: Example - The fastest rider in your event has a fastest lap of 58.40 seconds, the cut off time is 67.16 seconds.

So going by times seen at Rd 1 WA State Championship, we would / should make the cut.

    Fee's;

    Entry Fee (all classes).......................$270.00
    Cross Entry Fee................................$250.00
    C & D Grade Feature.........................$ 45.00
    Friday Practice (optional)...................$ 45.00
    Riders Levy - Solo.............................$ 44.00
    Event Timing Chargers......................$ 28.00
Credit Card Charge (if applicable)......$ 7.00
    Late Entry Fee..................................$ 65.00
Extra Tickets (Max 6)........................$ 20.00 ea
    * Please note all competitors who enter receive 6 general admission tickets 8)

I would be looking at Saturday and Sunday only, and you would require at least two sets of tyres.
Should be the best thing since sliced bread. Entry forms will be available in two weeks time, gives you all time to think about it.

Oh for those not racing it will be a must to turn out for a look  You will see the best riders in Australia.

Just to see Josh Brooks on the CBR 600RR and the 1000RR go flat out around Wanneroo will be awesome  But don't forget about the other riders, Nash, Tulk, Watts, Giles, Staufer etc etc, will be a great spectators weekend 8)

I've been looking forward to watchin' this since I heard about it in Feb!
      (First weekend after exams too)

Any idea on spectator prices or a PSB group-buy?

      I'm keen for both days.

Also if anyone wants a hand that weekend I'd be happy to help out.

I will come along for a gander. Hey Calvin if I give you a hand in the pits can I grab a freebie ticket off you :?:

Will be a great day to see the new bikes on the track carving it up. Anyone know if it will be televised or anything?

i'll be up there watching for sure. it was awesome watching josh waters last weekend on the 600. can't wait to see the really fast boys having a crack at each other into turn 1. i saw them at phillip island last year and they were unreal. josh waters broke the wanneroo supersport lap record last weekend by 0.4 seconds with a time of 58.40. josh is currently lying 13th in the oz supersport standings...

if you only get to see one lot of racing this year make sure it's this one. start planning money/work as its the best part of two months away...

Good thing about aussie rounds is no matter where you are in the field there will always be someone a bit quicker than you and it really improves your lap times.
