    Not testing tomorrow in Malaysia, and without the opportunity of fighting for points after an off-track excursion, Kurtis Roberts used his time wisely for the remainder of the race at Sepang to experiment with his settings and electronics.

    There shouldn't be traction control, or launch control, or any other form of rider aid.

    Motorcycling is the most stripped down form of motorsport there is, where 80% of the speed comes from the rider. They're heading down the path of F1, where some programmer back in the pits decided who wins or loses, and that's just fucking boring.

    All you need is man + machine + road

      110% agree! It's what makes it so entertaining to watch, and it's brilliant to know, that it's possible for any rider on his day to take the win (to a degree). The speed comes from the man not the machine.

        If thats going to be a 2 bike team next year, they really need another Eddie Lawson or similar helping them out.

        Poor bloody Kurtis, having to do all the development etc himself - Thats never going to work.
        Increasing my carbon footprint - one 500 @ a time...
