Haven't spoken directly with Casey but I've read that it's the A-C joint.

If this is true, then it's not so bad, and shouldn't require surgery.

A week or so rest, and while not quite as good as new, it's not as serious as doing a rotator cuff.

Did my A-C joint playing rugby, and apart from having to strap the shoulder up every weekend, it didn't really cause any probs...apart from pain.

So here's hoping that it is only the A-C joint.

                      Bloody painful though.
