  • Brazil GP - Quotes from the front row

From the Moto GP site, Biaggi think's he's nearly perfect but how's Rossi sitting in 4th so far?!?!?!

Fingers crossed he'll pick it up over the next day or so.

Max Biaggi (1st): “That last lap was almost perfect. I spent most of the time working on the race set-up and finding the right tyres for the race. I felt confident that the set-up was good so I went out for one more effort for a fast lap at the end. Tomorrow we need to work a little bit more on the chassis but for now I am happy – this position could turn out to be very important if the weather changes tomorrow.”.”

Loris Capirossi (2nd): “I’m really happy because we improved the settings from this morning. We worked mainly on suspension and gearbox set-up and we were able to run a good pace. This is only our first day here with the Desmosedici, but things are going well and they can be better tomorrow because we’ve already found the right direction in which to work.”

Sete Gibernau (3rd): “Today was possibly the best session we have had since the start of the season. We have done a race simulation of 20 laps and clocked consistent times around 1’51, and I felt comfortable and on form the whole time. The team have done a great job and I already know what we need to work on tomorrow. I am feeling satisfied and ready for the race to start.

Valentino Rossi (4th): “A good day at a track I like. We made good work and are in good shape for Saturday’s race. The bike feels stable but we still have work to do tomorrow – sometimes it’s very difficult for the rear to follow the front. I have to ride sweet with the throttle to make the rear spin. On some of the high speed corners we make a little slide at the edge but we are not a long way off with the settings."

Latest rumour that has been in the news this week is that Rossi has still not signed for Honda and may end up at Ducati after quite a temting offer. Also there are suggestions that Bayliss may take Rossi's spot in the Repsol camp!!!

Gotta love MotoGP silly season, but you never know when $$$ are involved
