NO and we are better for it.

Josh Trigwell had an off at turn 7, hence the reason he has no time.

Average lap speed today was up there with average times for GP bikes on the world curcuit, was very impressive to watch.

Did anyone notice if Glenn Allerton was backing it into turn 1? Needless to say, the car marshals were very impressed by the bikes.

          FYI
          Lap record is 55.858

So Allertons time is not bad for 1 practice & 1 qualifying session

And the fastest for the V8 Supercars today was about a 56.6

Danny Green drove a supercar in the second last session for today with a corporate passenger onboard, he put it in the sand at the basin on the warmup lap. And thats how the day ended.

Not easy driving one of those things with boxing gloves on.

Sadley there is also Formula Extreme on this weekend over east, so the Yamaha Team (Superbikes and SS) are competing in that..... as well as some of the rest of the regular field I guess.

The racing tomorrow is going to be awesome, with the top 9 guys separated by less than a second at the moment. Josh Trigwell will have the bike back out there for Qualifying 2 tomorrow, and hopefully Lubi can settle and improve in his own time. It looks as though his race pace will be pretty good if the FP1 is anything to go by.
