Oil Changes

Hi Guys.
How often do you do an oil change on your track bikes? I was told maybe every 2 to 3 track days? is this too often or not often enough?
Do they take different oil to the normal street bikes?

Yup that's about right. Decent oil & change it often. I use Motul 5100

For me its full synthetic + filter changed after every 3 trackdays/race meets. that reminds me........

yep thasts about right. you'll find even good synthetic oil gets killed pretty quick at the track. my gear changes feel shitty after 3 days.

Oil and filter changed after every second outing or every outing if I've been doing more than my 'normal' laps.
Penrite 10 Tenths, Racing 15 (15W-50) Full synthetic.
I drain the oil into a clean container, let it sit then pour it through a paper coffee filter when I change the ute oil and filter.
