Racecraft 17/4/04

Hi All,

Is anybody going to the racecraft on Saturday? For those who don't know about it, you get to fang around Barbagello raceway for a day under the instruction of very experienced race riders. It is a great way to practise highspeed cornering and braking. I have been to a novice racecraft and have come away not only a huge smile on my face but a whole new confidence in my riding skills and the level I can push my bike to.

I recommend this day for everyone and anyone with two wheels.

im doing the racecraft course theres always something for me to learn so i will go as many times as i can afford,plus i should get the ohlins this week and will need to dial it in.i think theres only the half tuning day before the first round which is not enough :shock:

There is a tuning day on Sunday April 25th (Anzac Day) for HCMC and MCRC.

Will you be turning up for that?

Well at least she is giving it ago 8) She can learn alot from it :idea: and like you said you are the poor bastard working away :evil:
The problem will come when you both want to do it at the same time (a fight for the bike) looks like you will be SP1 bound :oops: You could always trade the SP1 on the new Blade :idea: :twisted:

i think it's great that she is having a go. i was actually contemplating riding the sp-1 if she rode the cbr, and i wasn't looking forward to it. i still love it but (as i found out riding it around yesterday) it really is a bit of a pig compared to the cbr.

Very much sounds like it's time to trade up :!: Nothing worse then riding a bike that does not make you feel comfortable / happy, most likely why I have had so many bikes :?

i still enjoy riding the sp-1 on the road, but it's just a lot slower and harder work than the cbr. i ride pretty slow on the roads these days so it's still good, and i love the noise! i might tee up a test ride of the cbr1000 when i get the chance to. last time i test rode anything i ended up buying the cbr6rr. can't really afford to upgrade at the moment (buying a house), but that hasn't stopped me before. will have to wait and see...
