  • FULL DAY Tuning Session at AHG

    Hi everyone,

I managed to get AHG's track for a Full Day for Tuning Sessions.

It will be held at AHG Driving Centre (near Perth International Airport) www.dtec.com.au

    It's on Monday the 12th November......(yep I know....monday....that's what "sick days" are for! )

The way I structured the course is simple:

    - 1st group ROADBIKES (briefing @ 8.00am - TS start 8.30am to 11.00am)

    - 2nd group SUPERMOTOS ONLY (briefing @ 11.00am - TS start 11.30am to 2.00pm)

    - 3rd group ROADBIKES "GIRLS ONLY" (briefing @ 2.00pm - TS start 2.30pm to 5.00pm)

The house rules are always the same: Group A (Advance) and Group B (Novice) and the track will be run normal and reverse direction.

Bikes will be scrutineered before entering the track, we suggest to tape mirrors, speedo, etc. plus there will be an air compressor on site in case your planning to play with tyre pressure.

Riding gear is usual: helmet, gloves, jacket, pants (Dragon Jeans are perfect, otherwise 2 pair of normal jeans are fine) and boots (please no snickers or Ross boots....)

For booking please call Barbara on 1300 888 987.

Spread out the word fellows, if the response will be positive I'm sure AHG will be more then happy in realising more TS full days dates.

    Keep in touch.

Just curious Andrea, why would you put the guys who will ride harder in the morning session on a colder track ?.

I think by 12 Nov there will be enough heat in the track for tyres to work well and the morning might be a blessing when you are wearing full kit.

It should be a good day!

                  Invite ur boss along......

                  One session is $80.

I must agree with Neil, with summer around the corner, the track will be sticky anyway.

You have to do the "Advanced Ride Day (ARD)" before you can do "Tuning Sessions (TS)"...

                    ARD is $210 IIRC...

Its a little sucky, but thats how it is...

                        Hi guys n gals

Spoke with D-Tec today in regards of the TS Day on the 12th November, the spots are filling well:

                        - 1st Group have few spots left
                        - 2nd Group with 5 spots left
                        - 3rd Group there are 10 spots left (if it does not get book with at least 8/12 girls it will be open to all roadbikes).

                        So far so good then.

Do you know if they will give credit for completing Racecraft Courses instead of their ARD?
