  • Kings of Wanneroo - Who's your tip to win

So with just over a week to go until the big event…who is going to be crowned the King of Wanneroo?

With 33 Superbike entrants all on Superstock bikes the racing will be close and exciting.

I was recently overseas and word around the BSB paddock amongst the riders is that Karl Harris will be the one to beat.

The overseas riders are deadly serious about winning Kings and I know Ryan Farquhar, Mike Swann and Adrian Coates have been training flat out for the event.

The Laverty brothers will be going hard as will Ian Lowrey.

Then there’s the Aussies Glenn Allerton, Cam Donald, Damon Buckmaster with Bruce Anstey flying the Kiwi flag.

Throw in the locals Bryan Staring, Ben & Cameron Stronach, Cam Keevers, Ben Henry, Chris Gailbraith and Mark Schneirer.

How’s this for the potential first 5 rows of the grid:
    Allerton
    Harris
    Farquhar
    Donald

    Anstey
    Staring
    M.Laverty
    J.Laverty

    Coates
    Lowrey
    Swann
    Buckmaster

    B.Stronach
    C.Stronach
    Keevers
    Gailbriath

    Schneirer
    Henry
    Boulton
    Martin

    My tip…Allerton, Harris, Farquhar

    Bring it on!!!

I think Farquhar and Allerton will be the biggest threats, they are stupendious riders but I a cant see Ben getting beaten on home turf.... my 2c

After some careful deliberation my top 5 (no particular order)

      Glenn Allerton
      Karl Harris
      Bryan Staring
      Ben Stronach
      Ryan Farquhar

      Its gonna be awsome!!

Track was dry but coldish - frightened the crap out of me when he went past on the exit of skyline - I'd swear he didn't touch the brakes into the basin until after the turn in

whose going to win - the MCRCWA and our sport IMO.

One thing though - 15 lap races - Will there be 3 to 4 seconds difference between the slower ppl and the front runners? If so lapping is going to be interesting.
