I'm not an insurance assessor, so I haven't assessed bikes before. But I do have an engineering degree, so I think I have a bit of an idea....

No cut, with the brackets that go over the fram and bolt into the engine mounts. They were on the bike when I bought them.

Basically what I've been thinking. Even ignoring the cut, its obvious how hard it's hit the slider, and its pressed basically up against the frame, so...

Oggies are a listed and approved accessory, so no problems there.

Apparently they think that it's 'cosmetic' damage to the frame. I'm not really sure how I feel about this...

Yeah, its the main frame. Its on a lower point than the spars, i suppose you'd call it the engine mount, but its all one piece.
