  • Martin1's Christmas News

    Hey FHRC crew!

Just have an announcement to make that i wanted to share with you lot.

A few of you know that i have been with my girlfriend Frances for the last 6 years. We have lived together for half of that time, completed uni, started our careers and bought our first home - so we have done a lot of growing up together!

So; late last year just before Christmas i finally did what a lot of our friends and family were expecting and proposed to her! I did the full deal with breakfast out in our favourite spot, before getting down on one knee and popping the question. Of course she said yes (amid much surprise and even a few tears).

As you can imagine, since then it has been a whirlwind of congratulations from friends and family, and the past two weeks have been a real blur. I have had a big smile on my face since, grinning like an idiot, and i am starting to get used to the idea of being engaged.

We are planning on a small engagement party in April this year with close family and friends, with a large wedding due for May 2013. That hopefully gives us plenty of time to organise!

Anyway, i consider all of you guys to be among my good friends, and i really wanted to share my news with you!

Cheers, hope to see you all for the ride next weekend!

    Congratulations Martin! Fantastic news.
We are small and exposed, and probably moving too fast for our own good, but that's no reason not to enjoy every minute of the ride.
