  • Yeah i went straight from the CBR to the R1...i road some 600's as well for comparance though. Honestly people say if you get a thou straight away it's suicide ect ect but once you actually see the differences between 600's and thous its just where the power is.

    600's are sluggish under 6 - 8k RPM, so to be a hoon you need to rev it a bit. Thousands are lazy power...my R1 pulls like a bus from about 3k (+5 rear sprocket helps even more so). I love it :awesome:

    Don't think i'll get a 600 as a road bike...they are made for the track...plus i love the ease of wheelies too much heheheh
