I personally don't mind the rain and I've even ridden in a storm. When you're walking around and then it starts to rain, do you all of a sudden run for cover or do you don't mind it? I guess that's the same with riding, it's cold and wet. If you're all casual about it on foot, then it probably isn't a big deal on a bike. Plus you're most probably fully covered anyway if you have gear on. I think it's also something you can get used to if you do it often enough. But yeah, just like in a car, be careful when in the wet. Slippery conditions and just general staying alert stuff really. Well it's up to you whether you want to go out there or not, and it's probably not a bad idea to give it a try like you did on your lessons. So I'm guessing the gear you bought aren't really made for wet conditions?
